luggage storage

hi all,

we are arriving from australia at 7:30am to LAX but we cannot checkin to our accomodation until 4pm. is there anywhere we can store our luggage (2 medium suitcases) while we drive around and see some sites or go to the beach. i don%26#39;t really want to leave it in the trunk as i have heard that it is not really safe to do that. we will have a hire car. are hire cars easy to spot by thieves, or is it hard to tell between a los angelians car and a tourists car? any ideas?

If you r';acommodation%26#39;';is a hotel they will let you leave you rbags even if you haven%26#39;t checked in.If the room is ready you will be able to check in early . It is a good idea to le tthem know you are coming in early.

I have checked into hotels as early as 1PM and all have 3or 4PM check-in times.

I think your bags would be perfectly safe in the trunk of your car. I%26#39;d just park the car, lock it, and go have fun!
