Can anyone go to Hollywood nightclubs, or just the stars??

I am coming to LA in October ( a 25yr old fun-loving couple) and would love to have a few glamous nights out in the clubs there.

Can %26#39;non-celebrity english tourists%26#39; get into these clubs??

Is there a separate area for the rich and famous or is there a chance of spotting a celebrity (this would really make our holiday!)

Also, can anybody reccomend a club for me to try???

Thanks a lot!!

Yes, anyone can go to any nightclubs in Hollywood. You might want to contact a poster in this board. His name is Alex and he can put you in some guest lists for a couple of A list clubs.

That would be me ;-)

As for most A-List Hollywood Nightclubs, you do not have to be a celeb to gain entry, but you need to be on a guestlist. These clubs are private establishments, so if you are not on a guestlist = no entry.

Just message me what night you would like to come out and i make sure to hook you up with a great hollywood hot spot

Wow thanks alex, that sounds great!!

A few more questions I%26#39;ve thought of...

Is there a particular dress code we need to adhere to?

What sort of music do the clubs play?

Are all nights of the week busy (at home they are only worth going to on Friday and Satruday - does the same apply in hollywood?)

Thanks again!

Best nights out in LA are any night BUT Friday and/or Saturday - if you want to hang with the locals and not the tourists.

Dress how you would for the hippest club in London - hip, stylish, expensive jeans - Music is everything from hip hop to 80s. For insight on what%26#39;s happening on each night of the week, or what each club is like, go to la.com and click on nightlife.

wow, yogachick knows her nightlife,lol!

I always say the dresscode is california casual, we are not to uptight like the guys on the eastcoast. Jeans is fine with a dresshirt for example. Just no shorts/sneakers/tank tops.

Music is mostly a mix of Hip Hop/Top 40/Party Tunes. I like the crowd better during the week, but if you are looking for something big with a lot of people friday/saturday would be the nighs to go out
