Direction from DL to Walk of Fame? I'm clueless..

This may sound stupid...

Is DL very far away from the Walk of Fame? is it worthwhile to take the time to go? If so what would be the best and cheapest way to get there. either from DL area or universal studio?

Which walk of fame?

The new Orange County Walk of Fame only has 3 stars, but it is easy to get to, just head to the Disneyland Pedistrian entrance on Harbor Blvd. The first star, Walt Disney is basically under the Entrance sign.

The famous Hollywood walk of fame is spread over blocks, while a majority are Hollywood Blvd, they do also go onto some side street.

If you drive to Universal Studios one day, I would just park in the Universal City Transit center parking lot after you finished at the park, and take the Subway to Hollywood and Highland and then go exploring.

Thank you!

I didn%26#39;t know there are more than one walk of fame. As you can tell i%26#39;m from Vancouver and it%26#39;z my 1st time to LA.

Even easier, on the day you visit Universal -- after you visit the Park -- drive to the parking structure for the Hollywood %26amp; Highland shopping center (at the corner of, you guess it: Hollywood Bl %26amp; Highland Av). This is about a 10-minute drive. Enter the parking structure from Highland Av. You can park there for 4 hours for only $2 (as long as you make a purchase in the mall -- such as a cup of coffee). You can also use Hollywood %26amp; Highland as a base for visiting other nearby areas of L.A., like the Farmer%26#39;s Market and the Grove. Buses pull up on the northwest corner of Hollywood Bl %26amp; Highland Av to most areas of the city. The bus ride to Farmer%26#39;s Mkt/the Grove takes about 25 minutes. Or, you could take a coach tour of the city by visiting Starline Tours (their office is in the courtyard of the famous CHINESE THEATER (on Hollywood bl, just west of Highland Av). For a list of their tours that depart from in front of the theater, go here:

www.starlinetours.com/los-angeles-tours.asp

NOTE: if you do opt to take a long tour, the cost of parking at Hollywood %26amp; Highland will be more than $2 after 4 hours (it increases $3 per hour with a daily maximum of $10 -- still a bargain, by L.A. standards) You could even park there in the morning and take the metro rail to Universal (1 stop on the red line -- 4 minutes, followed by a 1-minute %26#39;free tram ride%26#39; up the hill to the Park). This way, you wouldn%26#39;t have to move your car all day and the maximum charge for parking would be only $10. (Universal%26#39;s lots are either $10 for the ';faraway lot'; or $20 for the ';close by'; lot.

Have fun!

Thank you so much for your detail info!

how about public transit from Universal Studio to Hollywood Walk of Fame? is it possible? or how much would it approx cost to taxi? We aren%26#39;t driving so probably have to depend on transit.

Any recommedation for more local resturant in that area? cheap to medium pricy would be good.

Thank you!
