Sorry my search skills seem to be rusty. We%26#39;re looking for big hotels or casino%26#39;s in south Tahoe that can host a 5 person group for a bachelor party. We would really like to be somewhere with room service so that rules out all the nice condo%26#39;s and houses available for rent in the area.
All the hotels and casino%26#39;s that I find seem to have a max of 4. Any ideas? Something close to Heavenly ski resort is preferable.
Thanks!
Any big hotels / casinos that can host 5 comfortably?
Lots of the casino hotels have it so you can book adjoining rooms - are you saying that all 5 of you want to stay in one room and have a bachelors party? If you are fine with booking adjoining then any of the large casino hotels will do...Harrahs...Caesars...etc.
If $ is not the factor then book one of Harrah%26#39;s West End Suites

This will give you a great place for the party - then book one additional room for sleeping.
Any big hotels / casinos that can host 5 comfortably?
Call the hotel and let them know what you are looking for - they will be happy to assist you
All of the rooms at Harrahs Lake Tahoe have two bathrooms..one with a tub and one with a shower. Both have TV%26#39;s in them in addition to the one in the bedroom. You could get a room with two queen beds and a rollaway, and having two bathrooms would make it a lot more comfortable. I don%26#39;t know if fire regulations will allow five persons in one room. I would call the hotel directly and ask.
Hope that helps.
This looks to me like a solution to your problem. Bedroom with two queen beds, living room with sofa bed, restaurant on the premises.

(Let me know if this works out, OK?)
Call Harvey%26#39;s and Harrahs ...
We stayed at the Marriott Grand in a large unit that overlooked the gondola. It%26#39;s within walking distance to the casinos. No room service but there are lots of eateries close by for take out and the units have full kitchens and dining rooms. The unit we stayed in had 2 full masters, another full bath a huge bonus room upstairs with a pull out couch. There was actually sleeping situations throught the unit.
South Lake Tahoe doesn%26#39;t have really big anything. You may be able to get a suite at the casino that will allow 5.
All the casino hotels are just a couple blocks from Heavenly%26#39;s gondola. From Sunday to Thursday they%26#39;re dirt cheap and Friday and Saturday they%26#39;re an arm and a leg. Horizon Casino and Lakeside Inn are the cheapest (about $59 midweek), although Lakeside is more like five blocks from the gondola. There%26#39;s bus service to all. I like Montbleu, which goes for around $79-89 midweek per night during ski season, but over $200 on Fri and Sat. Harrah%26#39;s is the most expensive but excellent and Harvey%26#39;s is about the standard of Montbleu, although Montbleu has a great indoor pool with a huge jacuzzi.
If you really want five in a room, book a quad and ask for a rollaway without telling them you%26#39;ve got five, but if you%26#39;re there midweek, it%26#39;s cheap for two rooms anyway. Lakeside Inn is the best value on weekends and get the food package for no extra charge if staying at least two nights.

The Marriott Timber Lodge is very nice, it is adjacent to Heavenly. They have villas that could easily accomodate your group, they looked very nice when we saw them during our Timeshare presentation. :)
Thanks for the tips guys.. and I apologize for being so aloof. I%26#39;ll make some calls as you recommended and post back.
You didn%26#39;t mention budget, but sounds like you want to be in a hotel room where you could order up room service and all be together.
You could get two connecting rooms with a couple Queens in each, and a roll away. When my kids went to a resort area for a bachelor or birthday party, that is what they did. They did not care about cooking or having a kitchen.
Check out Harvey%26#39;s or Harrah%26#39;s.
