I%26#39;m looking for a Sunday brunch buffet in the SF/Bay Area, even on the coast in Half Moon Bay or Pacifica. No one seems to offer the buffets anymore. Not the pricey $70-80.00 cost. Looking more for $25-30.00 price range.
San Francisco /Bay Area Sunday Brunch Buffet
There are no brunch buffets here in SF that I%26#39;m aware of but dozens of options of fresh baked pastry cafes and fresh-cooked to order brunch restaurants.
The major 4 and 5 star hotels offer pricey buffets because it is costly to keep the food fresh at all times during the brunch hours and they most likely have a cook at an omelet station customizing egg dishes. I personally would hesitate to go to a brunch buffet for under $50 because the freshness of brunch food is what is going to be worth it for me to go at all.

I recommend exploring the restaurants in Hayes Valley as several places have excellent brunch menus including Absinthe (398 Hayes), La Boulangerie (500 Hayes), Stacks (501 Hayes), Citizen Cake (Grove/Gough), and Breezy%26#39;s (409 Gough) in addition to Max%26#39;s Opera Plaza on Van Ness %26amp; Golden Gate.

I don%26#39;t know of anything within that price range.
Top of the Mark does has a Sunday brunch but if I%26#39;m not mistaken, it%26#39;s about $60/pp.
Thanks for your input. You%26#39;ve given me a different avenue to pursue.
The Cliff House has a Sunday Champagne Buffett Brunch (10:00A-3:45P/$39pp)

I know of only two buffet style restaurants that fall into your range. Todai is a seafood buffet located in Daly City and Moonstar is a Chinese buffet located in San Francisco (Civic Center) and Daly City. (http://www.moonstarbuffet.com/ ) Moonstar in Daly City has better parking and decor.
