I have tried to get an answer from my travel agent and Disney but the answer differs. We are staying at the Grand Californian--we thought this meant we automatically get early entry into the parks. However, I was told by one person I talked to that this is no longer the case. Does anyone know?
We will be going this weekend. Fri-Mon Thanks for the help.
free early entry with Grand California stay?Early Entry (now called Magic Mornings) is on selected days of the week for Fantasyland only and select parts of Tomorrowland. The eligibility for that depends on the length of your park-hopper tickets. I think that if you have a four day park-hopper you are eligible for one day of early entry on the Saturday of your stay.
The Local Expert who would know for sure is called Darkbeer. He may post here to clarify if I am correct or not.
free early entry with Grand California stay?I know in the AM they check room keys at the GC entry so you would have to be a guest, you would difinatley get a small jump to most of the good rides with the exception of tower of terror by using the GC entrance, do not know if they let you in any earlier. As I recall they did when we stayed there but that was a long time ago.
I can%26#39;t say that things haven%26#39;t changed, however I stayed at the Grand Californian in July 2007 (just 3 months ago) Upon arrival I was given my early entry pass with the days that it was valid. I don%26#39;t remember the days... sorry. But i didn%26#39;t have to prove that I had any kind of park hopper ticket.
Good luck... I hope this was helpful.
