LA Kings Tickets - Discounts & Availability

I am looking for 7-8 LA Kings Tickets for a February game . They are currently selling on ticketmaster and there are tons available.

Just wondering if there is anywhere that sells tickets discounted below face value, or in a package (i.e. through a pub) in the lower bowl?

When do these games sell out or do they ever?

I%26#39;m also wondering how easy it is to move down to the lower bowl if say, you get cheaper tickets?

Thanks.

Ticketmaster has an exclusive contract with the team. Any discounts will be visible on the site as well. There aren%26#39;t any other sites where you can find discounted tickets (unless it%26#39;s not a popular game and people are reselling at below face, but that wouldn%26#39;t be until the day of). You can only look for discount codes somewhere online to enter on Ticketmaster.com if you see a dropdown for promotion codes.

I don%26#39;t think you can move between levels.

LA Kings Tickets - Discounts %26amp; Availability

It%26#39;s not true that Ticketmaster is the only place to buy tickets.

Goldstarevents.com has LA Kings tickets for generally half-price. But they don%26#39;t have February games yet. You might email them to see if they know when they would have Feb. games for sale. StubHub.com might have season tickets for sale below face value, esp. if the Kings are as bad this year as they were last year.

I%26#39;m not sure the Kings ever absolutely sell out, unless they were playing a really hot team, or got remarkably better in the off-season.

As I mentioned, Ticketmaster is the only legitimate place to buy tickets. StubHub and others are resale sites, so individuals are just posting tickets there and nothing is guaranteed. If the ticket you get is fake, you won%26#39;t get in the venue. There is nothing to guarantee that you%26#39;re buying a legitimate ticket since the sales there are not verified through the Ticketmaster system from where all tickets are issued. These posted tickets are not ';discounts';. There can be tickets posted below face value if the team is bad and season ticket holders and others are reselling them just to get something for them. However, those will probably be posted closer to the game. And if you buy from an individual reselling their ticket, it is safer to purchase through the LA Kings TicketExchange site managed by Ticketmaster because tickets are verified for authenticity there. TicketExchange is actually approved by the Kings for that reason.

Again, the statements you are making are false and not really helpful to the question asked.

Stubhub.com has online and telephone customer service, the tickets are legit, and they have a money-back guarantee. They have literally millions of satisfied buyers and sellers, so I am not sure what facts you are relying on to say that the tickets are not guaranteed or real. http://www.stubhub.com/fanprotect

Goldstarevents.com receives tickets for sale directly from the LA Kings. They do not have the vast selection of seats you would have if purchasing through Ticketmaster or buying directly from the box office, but the tickets are real, guaranteed, and legitimately below face value.

Let%26#39;s just say I work in the industry, so I know what I%26#39;m talking about. StubHub%26#39;s %26#39;guarantee%26#39; is just marketing. LA Kings get absolutely nothing from the sales on their site and do not authorize it. SB offers to refund (only up to a certain amount, so you%26#39;re out of luck for expensive events, though it doesn%26#39;t apply to this case) and to try to obtain ';similar'; tickets (up to their discretion and doesn%26#39;t really help if you%26#39;re there and stuck). Neither of these really helps if you get to the game and find out at the door that they tickets are not legit.

I read many reports across the country of people being pissed off when they got to the event and can%26#39;t get in due to fake or duplicate tickets. And the team won%26#39;t help if you buy from an unauthorized reseller. There are numerous reports compiled for various events when this happens and even a place on Ticketmaster.com where you can report it and get info on how to file legal complaints. The problem is that StubHub has no way to verify the tickets that people post, so it%26#39;s not any safer than Craigslist.

Either way, it%26#39;s just important to understand this if you%26#39;re a tourist coming out there specifically for the game. It%26#39;s best to buy a ticket directly from the team or a source authorized by the team to avoid spoiling your vacation. Plus, this way you%26#39;ll actually be supporting your team with the money and not a ticket broker.

It%26#39;s a town full of people in ';the industry,'; and just because you claim to be in it doesn%26#39;t mean you have any idea what you%26#39;re talking about. You don%26#39;t. Please learn the difference between objective facts and subjective opinions. If it is your opinion that Ticketmaster is the best place to buy tickets, then fine. The poster asked about discounted tickets.

Goldstarevents.com get tickets directly from the LA Kings. They are real tickets.

Who cares whether the LA Kings gets money from the tickets? They got money from the original sale of the tickets. Why are they entitled to a cut of money from the legal resale of tickets? Oh, and btw, Ticketmaster is a ';broker'; as well.

I read lots of reports on the internet about people seeing Elvis at the grocery store. As we%26#39;ve seen, just cuz it%26#39;s on the internet don%26#39;t make it true.

The ';industry'; that you%26#39;re talking about has nothing to do with ticketing. Your view is a view of of a regular consumer, who hasn%26#39;t been yet burned on buying a fake ticket. Which is understandable. But those in this industry deal with issues that go on with unauthorized ticket reselling every day, including many angry customers.

The ';best'; way to find tickets is subjective. I didn%26#39;t say it was the ';best'; way in general. It depends on your perspective. I said that buying from Ticketmaster or through TicketExchange will guarantee that your ticket is legitimate. Some consider that the ';best'; way. Others don%26#39;t mind the risk. If they%26#39;re buying tickets in advance, I don%26#39;t see the point of taking a risk as slow tickets won%26#39;t be discounted until closer to the event date anyway.

My only point was that you need to distinguish between authorized sellers and brokers because there is an underlying risk when buying from an unauthorized broker (like StubHub). Buying a fake or duplicate ticket can ruin their vacation. And it has for many if you read the reports, which I have. There have been people who flew out for events and drove 400 miles to be turned down at the door. StubHub doesn%26#39;t post their stories. Tourists just need to understand that it%26#39;s the same risk as buying from Craigslist or on the street. StubHub has put in millions of dollars into branding themselves into a ';trusted'; brand for resale, but in actuality it%26#39;s not any different from Craigslist. Of course, they won%26#39;t tell you that. They also won%26#39;t tell you that they have no way of knowing whether something posted on their site even exists in reality.

The Kings work with many groups to fill the house for slow games. I don%26#39;t know if this GoldStarEvents is one of them and I tried to check, but their website doesn%26#39;t load.

Btw, the Kings obviously get a slice from the resale of the ticket bought through TicketExchange.

So you%26#39;re a shill for the Kings or Ticketmaster. Whoopee. You%26#39;re here to protect their precious revenue. Glad you cleared that up. I was certainly losing a lot of sleep worrying about whether some billionaire made 3 cents off a resold ticket.

You still don%26#39;t know what you%26#39;re talking about, you%26#39;re just trying to scare people by providing untruthful and dishonest answers, and not answering the question asked, no matter what ';industry'; to claim to be a part of.

Smartcooki is correct. Reread what she wrote....';exclusive contract with the team';. She did not say that Ticketmaster is the ONLY place to purchase tickets, just that they are the only licensed and authorized place to get tickets.

Smartcooki is giving you a FACT that Ticketmaster is the authorized distributor, authorized by the NHL, to sell tickets. At no point did she say this was the BEST place to purchase tickets. That would have been a subjectve statement.

The reason stub hub.com has so many satisfied customers (like myself) is because they are stringent in their purchasing of tickets for resale. They would be out of business in a heartbeat is they sold bogus tickets. There are countless places to purchase sporting event tickets and your safest bet is to purchase them from the authorized sales distributor.

CalgaryJen - About the only way to purchase tickets at below-face-value is to peruse the websites that sell tickets. The ones that slackerlida mentioned are large and could get pretty much any seat you want. I have purchased tickets quite often from sellers outside the arena at the last minute for a steeply discounted price but that is very risky. I travel often out of state to attend MLB games quite often and have had success using Ebay, again there is some risk involved with that method.

If you need more help, e-mail me.

It is a FACT that Goldstar.com sells tickets that they receive directly from the LA Kings, and as such, is authorized to sell those tickets. It is a fact that these tickets are discounted, and sometimes as much as half price. It is also true that they do not have full availability or selection.
