Thanks for this. I will be visiting LA next year and as I don%26#39;t drive I will be getting about by public transport some of the time. I did LA earlier this year but used taxi%26#39;s, a sedan car and organised trips which worked out great but a little on the expensive side.
Public Transport information
Cheapest way to do this would be to stay at Hollywood and Highland (Orchid Suites, Celebrity Hotel) or at Farmer%26#39;s Daughter across from the Grove, and take buses. Use www.mta.net to plan out your bus routes. Some trips will take an hour or longer and will require a connection or two, but doesn%26#39;t sound like you have a choice. From the airport, you can take the SuperShuttle.

Did you have a question?
No question - just thanks for the information, it will help. I%26#39;ve got a rough plan of what I want to do. As for travelling for an hour, as a non-driver I%26#39;m use to it so it%26#39;s no trouble
You can go to www.metro.net which gives you plenty of information on routes and schedules. They have also a tripplaner. Just write in the adress of your hotel and the adress of your destination. Time and day of travel and it will tell you exactly how to get there
