Jeweler Recommendations?

Staying 4 days Sat thru Tues around Union Sq and looking for a local jeweler who could alter a ring for me? Can anyone suggest or recommend anyone who could do this for me .

Can%26#39;t speak for those in the Union Square area, however, a friend of mine is a jeweler in Burlingame (just south of SF). His name is Jim Shick and I%26#39;m wracking my brain to think of the store he works in.

I%26#39;ll try to get on tomorrow and leave another post.

Burlingame is easy to reach by Caltrain and/or BART (and is small enough that everything is within walking distance). In my opinion the short Caltrain trip (and the trip to reach the Caltrain station near (the former) PacBell Park) would expand your sightseeing of SF and be an additional way to see the area that would be worthwhile.

Jeweler Recommendations?

Avoid O%26#39;Farrell St jewellers. I took a braclet there to be soldered, paid $20, and it fell apart within 2 days. (Naturally after I left SF:-( )
