Which is best route from Burlingame to Monterey Aquarium

Please bear with me...

I know that I%26#39;ve asked this before, but I%26#39;m confused as to which is the best (fastest) route from Burlingame to the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

When I look at the map, its very daunting.

It will probably be 11am before we can head towards Monterey, if that helps.

Take 101 to Salinas - around there there will be a turn off to Monterey.

Take that one. That is by far the fastest route (we%26#39;ve driven many times).

The page includes a Direct Route, that is the quickest from Burlingame via Prunedale to Monterey. For the Best route, that takes about half an hour longer than the Direct Route, take the Quentin Kopp Freeway (380) to the Junípero Serra Freeway (280) toward Daly City the follow the signs to Pacifica where the Driving Directions on the page kick in.

The fastest route will be (it%26#39;s actully pretty easy to get to)

You can access Hi 280 from Burlingame (it%26#39;s at the top of the hill to the west), take 280 south , then hi 85 south, to 101 south, exit at hiway 156 in Prunedale, take it to Hi 1, S. stay on 1 to Monterrey. Take the Fremont St. Exit West, go up a few blocks turn right on Abrego St.. the street changes names to Lighthouse.

Follow Lighthouse for a mile or 2. Turn right on David Ave, the Aquarium will be right in front of you. You will have to hunt for parking in the surrounding area most likely.
