Hotel Angeleno, Magic Castle, or Best Western Sunset Plaza?

I will be in LA for 3 nights in early September and in my search for hotels, I found these three at the same exact rate. I%26#39;ve been to LA before, and it really doesn%26#39;t matter to me in what part of town I stay. During my last visit, I stayed at the Avalon, but as it%26#39;s gone up in price, I%26#39;d rather not book there. Any opinions or other suggestions?

Thanks!!

Hotel Angeleno, Magic Castle, or Best Western Sunset Plaza?

I should note, I%26#39;m a single 27 yr old female, and I%26#39;m my main interest in asking this questions is that I%26#39;d like to stay at the nicest or, in your opinion, the better of the three hotels.

Hotel Angeleno, Magic Castle, or Best Western Sunset Plaza?

The nicest is Angeleno, but you must have a car because it%26#39;s not near much. Sunset Plaza is next best, with new renovations and the most convenient location. I don%26#39;t recommend Magic Castle, personally.

I%26#39;ll probably be doing Malibu, the Getty, Robertson, Melrose. I definitely have a car, but how long does it realistically take from Angeleno to those areas?

Angeleno is closest to Malibu and the beach (venice and santa monica) - and close enough to Robertson and Melrose. It is at the Getty%26#39;s doorstep, can%26#39;t get much closer. With a car, it would be my top choice - fantastic bar scene on the top floor.

Forgot drive times:

Angeleno to:

Malibu - 25 minutes.

Getty - 5 minutes

Robertson - 20 minutes

Melrose - 25 minutes.

Take Sunset to avoid traffic.

I went with the Angeleno. Thanks for all the information!
