Before or after Thanksgiving??

HI all,

I was just wondering when DL is busier. The few days leading up to Thanksgiving, or the few days after?

I would imagine after, as it%26#39;s the weekend.

Being from Australia, I was unsure of how busy this Holiday is.

Before or after Thanksgiving??

Thanksgiving Day (Thursday) through Sunday are the busiest as that is when people are on holiday. The days before are less crowded - although busy - if people decide to take an extended holiday. We were at Disneyland last Thanksgiving - one thing to do to maximize your time there is to get ther when the park opens (it gets busier by afternoon) and also take advantage of fast passes. Enjoy your trip.

Before or after Thanksgiving??

Typically, Thanksgiving Day is quieter than the rest of the weekend. People tend to stay at home to have family dinners that day. But if you%26#39;re asking about the week before or the week after, I%26#39;d say that you can probably get a lower price for the week after -- it%26#39;s further away from today. But I think as long as you go between Veterans (Remembrance) Day and Thanksgiving it would probably be quieter than the first week of December. And again, Tuesday through Thursday are the best days to go to avoid crowds.

Our last visit was the Mon. before Thanksgiving, the crowds were not bad at all and all of the Christmas decorations were up, we loved the ';snowfall'; in Fantasyland! :)

I would not be surpised to see Disneyland maxed out on attendance for Friday and Saturday after. If you go, go early, if they close it due to overcrowding it is usually in the afternoon.

The two or three days after Thanksgiving are busy, but the seven days after that are much, much quieter. Before Thanksgiving, the locals often visit to see the newly installed Christmas holiday decorations, so I would almost be certain that the days before Thanksgiving are going to be much busier than the days after (as long as we are talking about 3 days after or more).

we are going Thanksgiving through th 28th, I am expecting crowds to be much higher during the weekend after, we are going to save two days for Monday and Tuesday, it should be much quieter then. We were there two years ago at the same time and it wasn%26#39;t bad at all.

We%26#39;re going to be there on the 19th %26amp; 20th (Mon %26amp; Tues) before Thanksgiving, and I am sooo hoping that those days are not very busy! If I had a choice I would go during a possible slower time, but I don%26#39;t :(
