November 16 Holiday Party at the Hyatt Regency

Here it comes, one of many seasonal celebrations. Radio KDFC is sponsoring a tree lighting ceremony and much more. From the web site:

It’s time to flip the switch on the holiday season with our annual free party and tree lighting at the Hyatt Regency in San Francisco.

The fun includes live performances by the 40-member Pacific Mozart Ensemble, Smuin Ballet and Velocity Circus. Plus strolling holiday characters, complimentary holiday punch and cookies, the miniature Snow Village, and more, all hosted by the KDFC DJs.

And, to really brighten the season, the dramatic indoor lighting of a majestic 45-foot tree and thousands and thousands of lights cascading through space in the hotel’s famous atrium lobby. Have your kids join the big countdown!

The indoor fun starts at about 7pm, just after the big Embarcadero Center building lighting and ice show on Justin Herman Plaza. The outdoor spectacle starts at 4:45pm with a set from the KDFC Classical Invasion orchestra and concludes with a fireworks show.

We arrive in SF from London on the 16th and are staying at the Hyatt Regency so may well go along and have a look at this.
