Does anyone have a good recommendation for a B%26amp;B or hotel in or around St. Helena? A place with a good view would be most preferred. Our main goal is to visit Cain winery, so is there something nearby maybe?
A weekend in St. Helena
The Harvest Inn in St. Helena is very nice, lovely grounds, friendly staff and a nice breakfast room with French doors that open out to the vineyards. Enjoy your time in the wine country! :)

Do you have a price range in mind as it ranges by a lot here. The Wine Country Inn www.winecountryinn.com - especially their cottages, have beautiful vineyard views. Cain is up off of Spring Mountain, so there isn%26#39;t really anything within walking distance, but I know Terra Valentine (a wonderful winery I highly reccomend) has an awsome guest house.
Thank you for your advice.
Valleygirl: Unfortunately, Terra Valentine does not rent their guesthouse. But it seems to be a very beautiful winery we might want to visit besides Cain. So thanks for the name.
As for rooms I will look at Harvest Inn or the other one you mentioned...
A couple of other nice places of lodging in the St. Helena area: Shady Oaks Inn (www.shadyoakscountryinn.com) and the Zinfandel Inn (www.zinfandelinn.com). And if you%26#39;d consider staying on the Silverado (east) side, there%26#39;s the Glass Mountain Inn (www.glassmountaininn.com), and at the high-end of the price range, Auberge du Soleil (www.aubergedusoleil.com).
