One great vineyard in Carmel area?

Hello,

My husband and I will be spending four nights in Carmel this October. Can anyone recommend a local vineyard that is a favorite? I see there are several to choose from and am looking for some feedback on which one (or two) to visit.

I enjoy Chateau Julien, but I%26#39;m not a wine connoisseur, so perhaps someone else with more wine knowledge will respond.

One great vineyard in Carmel area?

Chateau Julien is very nice. They produce some really great Chardonnay and white wines here. A little further up the road is Bernardus, a very nice place to taste red wines, they do a nice Pinot Noir. We also enjoy the Georis wines, especially the Sauv Blanc but have not been to their tasting room.

I have a review with photos of Chateau Julien if you%26#39;re interested. Cheers and have fun in Carmel. We like Wickets at the gorgeous Bernardus Lodge for a nice lunch. :)
