family friendly wineries?

Hope this isn%26#39;t a totally stupid question, but are kids allowed in the wineries / wine tasting rooms / etc. ? We are stopping by Temecula on our drive from Palm Springs to San Diego, and will have our girls with us, ages18, 15, 12. We%26#39;d love to stop at just quickly at one or two wineries, but we don%26#39;t want the kids to be totally bored... or left out completely. Suggestions?

In general, I believe that children are allowed in wineries (not allowed to taste the wine, of course), but might in fact be bored. Some wineries have nice restaurants and some might have interesting tours. You might phone ahead to find out:

All of the wineries have nice outdoor areas too. We saw lots of kids there. They can be in the wine tasting room as well.

We%26#39;re planning on taking our kids with us if we stop at some of the wineries this weekend.
