Has anyone done the Whale Watching tour through Randy%26#39;s Trips? Any feedback? Does the boat get very tossed?

We are planning to take the tour in August.

I%26#39;ve been on Randy%26#39;s trip%26#39;s for whale watching and we saw whales, but that was in Feb during the peak time. What type of feedback are you seeking? You will be in a boat that will go out into the Bay and possibly the ocean. Depending on the weather the boat gets tossed more or less. I don%26#39;t know that going out of Moss Landing will be very different since the the weather does not vary significantly between Moss Landing and Monterey.

If you visit their website you%26#39;ll see why I recommend them. They actually have wildlife experts available to answer your questions and special gear to help combat sea sickness.

I recommend ginger root capsules to combat motion sickness. It works much better than Dramamine. Just take 4 capsules 20 minutes before you sail and that should help with the nausea.

I%26#39;ve been on Randy%26#39;s several times. But it%26#39;s been a few years. We saw whales 2 out of 2 trips. They treated us well. Can%26#39;t remember exactly when we went. Used Randy%26#39;s also for a fishing trip for a Bachelor party. Big tip...don%26#39;t drink heavy the night before....LOL

Tossed about depends on the seas that day on the bay....
