My extended family and I are planning a trip to Cayucos. I read about the Salt Box (vacation rental) online and it intrigues me. Has anyone ever stayed there and, if so, do you recommend it. Thanx for your info.

As long as you and your family have no problem with the age of the property and share your enthusiasm, you should go for it! I love these quaint, charming places to relax and unwind. It%26#39;s not your typical sanitized hotel room that has no character what-so-ever. And most other beach house rentals are just a typical modern house that you have at home.
Of course, since I live so close, I can%26#39;t vouch for the property, but the website looks good and the reviews there should help.
