Our First Family get together

Our children and grandchildren are all over the US. We picked Santa Barbara for our first family gathering. We will be there July 28-Aug 4th.

We have young grandkids--any festivals, attractions with rides my grandkids may enjoy during this week?

Our First Family get together

About a half hour South, the Ventura County Fair is going on the first part of August. It is always fun and on the ocean, so doesn%26#39;t get too hot.

If the kids are younger - not too far away is Lake Casitas and they have a small water playground area and lazy river. The kids always have a fun time relaxing there.

The Santa Barbara Zoo is very nice, small but well done.

Renting surreys and riding along the ocean also is a good group activity.

You picke a nice time to be in santa barbara. Als part of the Santa Barbara Fiesta there are some rides, parades and fun events.

There is a good mix of activities to keep the whole age range interested with something.
