A bit of a silly question....!

Hi everyone!

I am planning to come to LA early Ocober, and since I come from the very cold North of England I would really love to spot some celebrities... I always hear about Britney and Paris etc on Malibu beach - Is this a private beach?? And can you reccomend the best place to go where I might spot some celebs??

Malibu is popular during the summer - many don%26#39;t own homes there, but rent for the summer, through Sept.

Please see our FAQs page at the top of the LA Forums, you%26#39;ll find a link on celeb spotting. Know that they don%26#39;t hang out in groups, but because many celebs live here, there are certain places they go, like Robertson to shop, Sunset Plaza to eat, etc

Dont expect any of these people to hang out at the beach. They are probably at some pool inside a huge mansion. Best way to spot a celeb is thru restaurants. Just go to one of the Hot Spots in Hollywood or West Hollywood, mostly weekdays and i am sure you will spot some here and there.

You can also get free Tv tickets to go to some of the TV tapings....This is another way to guarantee to see celebs.

LA is a large place so its easiest to go to see what shows are playing to spot a celeb. We%26#39;ve gone to a couple of restaurants and saw celebs .

Also, if you want to see Jay Leno in person book tickets at the Hermosa Beach Magic and Comedy Club - he does his act most Sunday nights.

We had stage front seats and had a great time. Very interactive with the audience.

Also, keep your eyes open around the airports. We%26#39;ve seen our fair share of celebs going here and there. And have also been bumped from our seats on a plane by a celeb (and we had to take the next flight out.).

Another place is see if you spot any celebs is to perhaps see if any are hanging out at the restaurant Moon Shadows.

It%26#39;s so annoying though - The person I%26#39;d most want to spot is Gwen Stefani, but I think she%26#39;ll be here touring in England while i%26#39;m over at LA!!! Bad timing!!
